I have had the pleasure of tasting a few of Marco's cookies and cakes. They are simply put the best I have had!! Don't just take my word for it though. You have to try them!

I celebrated my recent birthday with my 7 close friends at Marco's Supper Club. What a wonderful experience! The food was delicious - you can check out the menu on TheChefWorks.com website. We had a very special time, enjoying the ambiance, laughing and sharing stories. It was so much better than eating at a nice restaurant. Many of my friends are very good cooks, and they all exclaimed at the delicate taste and delightful presentation of the many courses of the meal. This was my best birthday ever! Thanks so much, Chef Marco!

For my birthday this year I asked Chef Marco for something chocolaty... and did he deliver... the richest, creamiest, flour less chocolate cakes, individually baked topped with a raspberry coulis! He also sent along apricot bars for those not so into chocolate. To be honest, they were both out of this world.
More recently my boyfriend wanted to celebrate a special occasion and thought the best place to do so would be at Chef Marco's private eatery. He was right! It was so romantic and because we are both serious foodies, we knew the dishes would be spot on, and Chef Marco did not disappoint. First we were introduced to several cheeses, one of which is my new favorite, and I thought I had tasted every one on the planet! (Cheese served with yummy poached pears!) His specialty is the pastry... salty or sweet, both were amazing.

I have been fortunate enough to have been Chef Marco's neighbor for a number of years. During this time I have eaten many of his cakes, treats, and special meals. Every dish that I sample is even better than the last. The famous cream puffs are rightfully so. Chef Marco puts his passion for food and cooking into everything he makes.

After tasting Chef Marco's cheese cake (which was so smooth, creamy and utterly delicious) We had a small party at his studio. He prepared a menu that I chose, which he pumped up a notch. Upon arriving the table was set simple and nice with an antiquish silver vessel of flowers and herb cuttings from his own garden. Homemade croissants and a Parker house loaf was served as we awaited the vegetable tart appetizer which was complimented with a creamy white sauce (mmmmm that was so good).
A little surprise came presented in a small silver cup resting on a very small iron cast pan - a lemon-lime sorbet pallet cleanser, readying us for the main course. Pan seared salmon with a garlic tarragon herb butter sauce cooked to order with sides of spicy jasmine rice and a cauliflower and broccoli dish. It wasn't over. Dessert came. I could have picked any other dessert but I wanted more cheese cake. A big wedge of cheese cake arrived in a pool of vanilla bean sauce with circles of plum sauce and dark chocolate what a beautiful presentation. What an amazing meal prepared by Chef Marco a food experience I will share with others.

We recently had Marco come to our house for an intimate dinner for 6 and it was a resounding HIT for everyone who came.
FRESH seasonal menu and ingredients (some from Marco’s own herb/vegetable garden), fantastic presentation and Marco’s enthusiasm to share his passion for food made it a great night. We collect wine and prefer to BYO and Marco was more than willing to offer his experience to tailor the menu to some of the wines we wanted to serve.
All the courses were very tasty and well thought out. If I had to choose one highlight… the tuna gravlax was a unanimous crowd pleaser.
Can’t wait to do it again!

I have had the pleasure to eat several of Chef Marco's pastries. They are SO delicious! The cream puffs are exceptional. I have a bit of a sweet tooth and that chocolate on chocolate cupcake is really good!
